Tropical fruit tree.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location in warm region.  Small near white flowers blooming all year around.  Fruit is green and ripe to yellow.   Delicious and flavourful with mango, pineapple, guava flavors.  Fruit can be eaten raw, make juice or jam.  Nice pleasant after taste in the mouth.   Although I do not like the pit with thicker fiber which make the seed looks like a sea urchin.  The peel is thick need to be remove before eating.   Young leaves are also can be cooked as vegetable.  USDA Zones:9-11.  Fast growing tree.  Mature size:9-12M (H)/ (W).  Propagate by seeds.  Plant is not good for strong wind.  Medicinal.

熱帶水果樹.  容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照到半日照處的溫暖環境.  近於白色的小花全年開花不斷. 容易結果,果實由綠成熟後轉黃.  好吃風味不錯,像是混合了芒果,鳳梨及番石榴的果香.  熟果食用後口齒留香有餘甘.    成熟果實可直接食用或打汁做成飲料或做成果醬.  它的羽狀葉嫩葉也能如葉菜般料理煮食.   但是它的種子不小,種子外有粗纖維,除掉果肉後的種子很像海膽.   果皮也厚要剝除才能吃.   它喜熱不耐寒.  生長快速.   成熟株高約9-12米高/寬.    繁殖以種子方式來進行.  植株不耐強風枝幹易折斷.  有藥用價值.

One of my favorite sweet and fragrant melons!  Delicious!  This annual sweet melon  is handful size with pale green thin peel, the look is like a petit honeydew melon!   This heirloom melon is very easy to grow.   Best growing in full sun location in rich soil.   Open pollinate.  Small yellow flowers in summer.  It can be grown as a trailing vine or climbing vine.  Fast mature, about 50+ days.

我很喜愛的瓜類之一,它的瓜肉很是香甜好吃!  它是一年生的甜瓜,熟果通常是可以單手抓住不會掉的大小,瓜皮薄呈淺綠色,有點像是很小號的蜜世界(白蘭瓜),不過比較香!  這瓜很容易栽種,也很容易結果.  最好栽種在全日照處的肥沃土壤.  花朵容易經昆蟲幫忙授粉而結果. 夏開黃色小花.  由於它喜熱,通常夏天長速很快.  它能在地上爬或架高攀爬.   由種子到瓜熟生長快速.約50天左右.

Very cute!  This genus are tropical perennials.  Easy to grow in moist, sunny and warm environment.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location.  This type of plants are not big.  Mature size: 1′-1.5′(H) x 6″(W).  Propagate usually by worm likes rhizomes, dividing plant clumps, stem cutting or seeds.  There are many hybrids around.
