Taiwan Reevesia (Reevesia formosana) seeds. 台灣梭羅木的種子.

Tropical deciduous tree.  Native only in mid to south of Taiwan.  Red new foliage color is very attractive!  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location.  Fragrant creamy white flowers attract bees and butterflies.  USDA Zones:8-10.   Mature size:40′-45′(H/W).   Propagate by seeds or cuttings.

梭羅木屬的熱帶落葉中型喬木,原生於台灣中南部.  屬於台灣特有種.  紅色的新芽葉很具特色!  容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照到半日照處.  芳香的米白色花於春末夏初時盛開.   花頗吸引蜂蝶.  喜熱不耐寒.  成熟株高/寬幅40-45呎.  繁殖方式以種子或扦插的方式來進行.

One of the most beautiful trees in the world!  This tropical deciduous tree is well know with its colorful bark.  Mainly growing for wood pulp.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun location in moist soil in warm climate.  Creamy white brush like flowers in fall to winter.   Mature size:40′(H)/(W).   USDA Zones:9-11.  Propagate by seeds.  Very fast growing!  Plant part is toxic if ingested.
