I like this variety is small enough and faster to mature due to the wild animals disturbance.

Mature size:1.5′-2′(H)X 4′-6′(W). Open pollinated. Propagate by seeds.

以前不曾種過這種也不曾用過.  最近試過越南菜,相當喜歡它和青檸在牛肉湯裡的味道!  這三種味道都是濃郁的沒有想到融合之後是如此不違和和相得益彰! 原產於墨西哥,其老莖與花萼呈紫紅色,花為紫色.  它是一年生的香草植物. 容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照到半日照處.  紫萼紫花於夏天開到秋天.  花頗吸引蜂蝶.  全株帶有肉桂香的羅勒香氣.  成熟株高2-3呎,寬幅1.5-2呎.  繁殖以種子或扦插的方式來進行.
