Iris family, it is native to southern Africa.  Bulbous flowering perennial.    Hardy and easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location.   Orange flowers in summer.   Flowers attract bees, butterflies and humming birds.   USDA Zones:6-8.  Mature size:3.5′(H) X 1′(W). Propagate by seeds, bulbs, offsets or by division.

原生於非洲南部,它是鳶尾家族的一員.  多年生球根花卉.  強健並易於栽種.  最好栽種於全日照到半日照處.  夏開橘色花.  花為頗吸引蜂蝶及蜂鳥的蜜源.  耐寒性尚佳,耐熱性不佳.  成熟株高約1公尺,寬幅約1呎.  多以種子,球根或側芽或分株法來繁殖.
