Purple Amaranth (Amaranthus) seeds are small, dark and glossy. 紅葉莧菜的種子小而黑亮.

Large annual leafy vegetable.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location.  Plant has burgundy leaves and stem.  Tender leaves and stem can be harvest and cooked as leafy vegetable.  Plants get taller and bigger through the growing season which it means long harvesting time!  Red flowers in summer to fall. Self seeds easily.  Mature size:6′-8′(H) X 1.5′-2′(W).  Propagate by seeds or cuttings.

大型一年生的葉菜.  容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照到半日照處.  植株莖葉為暗紅色.  嫩莖葉可以如一般葉菜一樣採收煮食. 同株植株會越長越高大,採收期間也會越長,採收量越多. 夏秋開花色花序. 會自行落子繁殖.  成熟株高可達6-8呎,寬幅1.5-2呎.  繁殖方式以種子或扦插的方式來進行.
