This is rarely seen variety. It is as easy growing as other types of lavender. Best growing in full sun location. Fragrant white flowers bloom from late spring to late fall if keeping deadheading. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and humming birds. Flowers are good for cut flower. This herb is very easy to propagate by seeds or cutting! Edible and medicinal! Love the scent!! USDA Zones:6-9. Mature size:1′-1.5′(H) X 1.5-3′(W).

My Food And Flowers 
A few springs of purple lavender are blooming in my garden now. Is this common for lavender to bloom twice in a season? I think I remember it blooming last year twice, too.
Without doing anything they normally bloom twice a year, if you keep harvesting them, they can bloom up to 6 times a year! More you cut and enjoy, more to grow!! 🙂
