Never plant this before because never tried this in any food.  Recently tried Vietnamese pho and really please with the combination with this with lime juice in beef soup!  What a genus way to combine these 3 things together!   Annual herb.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location.   Purple flowers in summer to fall.  Flowers attract bees and butterflies.  Whole plant is fragrant with basil with cinnamon scent.  Mature size:2′-3′(H) X 1.5′-2′(W).  Propagate by seeds or cuttings.

以前不曾種過這種也不曾用過.  最近試過越南菜,相當喜歡它和青檸在牛肉湯裡的味道!  這三種味道都是濃郁的沒有想到融合之後是如此不違和和相得益彰! 原產於墨西哥,其老莖與花萼呈紫紅色,花為紫色.  它是一年生的香草植物. 容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照到半日照處.  紫萼紫花於夏天開到秋天.  花頗吸引蜂蝶.  全株帶有肉桂香的羅勒香氣.  成熟株高2-3呎,寬幅1.5-2呎.  繁殖以種子或扦插的方式來進行.
