Yellow Wax Bells (Kirengeshoma palmate) has showy yellow flowers. 黃山梅的花也頗引人注意.

Cold hardy perennial. Easy to grow.  Best growing in partial shade to full shade location.  Waxy nodding yellow flowers in late spring to early summer.  Showy yellow flowers attract bees and butterflies.    USDA Zones:4-8.  Mature size:3′-4′(H) X 2′-3′(W).   Propagate by seeds, bulbs, offsets or division.  Medicinal.  Excellent in woodland garden.

耐寒強健的多年生草花.  容易栽種.  最好栽種在半日照到全蔭處.  春末夏初開黃色蠟質向下開的花朵.  顯眼的花朵頗吸引蜂蝶.  耐寒不甚耐熱.  成熟株高3-4呎,寬幅2-3呎.  繁殖以種子,球根,側芽或分株的方式來進行.  藥用.  很適合林地型有蔭的花園.

Cold and shade tolerant perennial.  Very hardy and easy to grow.  Best in partial shade but also tolerant full shade location.  Unusual flowers in spring.  USDA Zones:5-9.   Mature size:1.5′-2′(H) X 1′-1.5′(W).  Propagate by seeds/rhizomes/corms/ bulbs/offsets.   Whole plant is toxic if ingested.

This very common native woodland groundcover is very hardy.  Prefers in partial shade location in moist soil.  Small white or blue/violet flowers in spring give nice colour in woods.  USDA Zones:4-7.   Mature size:15cm(H) X 15-20cm(W).   Propagate by dividing plant in fall or seeds (seeds have very short viability so they can not be stored).

False Solomon’s Seal (Maianthemum stellatum) is very hardy perennial.   It flowers in late spring with small white star-shaped flowers and  soon fruits in summer.   Its fruit turn red in fall, very attractive, fruit is edible but not tasty.    Very easy to grow in partial shade to full shade location.  Very cold tolerant. USDA Zones: 3-8. 　Easy to propagate it by division of plants or seeds.  Excellent for woodland garden.   Mature size:1′-1.5′(H) x 1.5′-2′(W).
