Finally I have purchased and planted 4 different double varieties this year!   Each bulb is a bit bigger than my fist.  It will be very nice to see them bloom around Christmas and new year.  🙂   Even though they are native to South America and Africa but nowadays they are so popular everywhere in the world!

今年終於買到並種下了4種不同花色的重瓣孤挺花!  每一球的大小比拳頭稍大些,很結實.  可望在聖誕節和新年期間賞到花.  🙂  雖然孤挺花原生於南美及非洲地區但是由於它們好種又極受到歡迎,現在世界各地就到處可見!

I always happy to see its very large flowers in summer! It always wows my guests. This hardy perennial is very easy to grow in full sun location in any garden. This plant already been in my garden for many years, even though the plant tag said only to 3′ tall but today it is 7′ tall and 5′ wide! I did not do any winter protection for it. It is winter hardy type. USDA Zones:5-9. Mature size:3′-7′(H) x 3′-5′(W). Easy to propagate by seeds or cuttings.
