Nice dioecious woody vine.  Value for its colorful foliage.  Best in full sun to partial shade location.  Small almost creamy white flowers in spring and small edible fruit in summer.  USDA Zones:4-8.  Very hardy.  Strong support is required.  Mature size:15′-30′(H) X8′-10′(W).   For fruit, you will need 1 male plant to pollinate 3-4 female plants. Best foliage colour is in partial shade or light shade. Easy to grow and propagate by seeds or cuttings.

Its common names include kinnikinnick and pinemat manzanita.  Very hardy low mound shrub, leathery broadleaf foliage is glossy.   Small pink flowers in spring and fruit ripe to red from late summer throughout the winter.  Flowers attract bees, animals like to eat the fruit.  Fruit and leaves are used for cosmetic, medicine.  It is good for soil retaining.

Easy to grow in full sun to partial shade location in acidic soil.  Drought tolerant once established.  Low maintenance.  Slow growth and tolerant light foot traffic.   Mature size:6″-12″(H) X 1.5′-2′(W).  USDA Zones:4-9.  Excellent for naturalized garden!  Propagate usually by cuttings.

耐旱. 容易栽種在全日照到半日照處偏酸性的土壤.  成熟株高6-12吋,寬幅為1.5-2呎.  偶爾的踩踏是無礙的.  很適合用於自然林園式的花園.

This very common native woodland groundcover is very hardy.  Prefers in partial shade location in moist soil.  Small white or blue/violet flowers in spring give nice colour in woods.  USDA Zones:4-7.   Mature size:15cm(H) X 15-20cm(W).   Propagate by dividing plant in fall or seeds (seeds have very short viability so they can not be stored).
