Tropical fruit.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun location.  Small red/orange male and female flowers in spring.  Fruit ripe from green to orange.  The ripe fruit has thin peel compare with regular mangosteen.  The fruit is tasty sweet-sour and very juicy!  Very similar with tangerine.  Seed is easy to be seperated from the flesh which it is very different from the regular mangosteen.  USDA Zones:10-11.  Mature size:20′-40′(H/W).  Propagate by seeds, cuttings or air layering.  Suitable for growing in containers, plant can flower and fruit when just few feet tall.  Slow growth.

熱帶水果.  容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照處.  春開紅/橘色雄花與雌花.  果實成熟會由綠轉為橙色.  果皮比一般山竹要薄許多,種子和一般山竹相比也較容易和果肉分離.  果肉跟一般山竹一樣味道酸甜多汁! 頗接近橘子的味道和口感.  喜熱不耐寒.  成熟株高/寬幅20-40呎.  繁殖以種子,扦插或高壓的方式來進行. 不同於山竹這種適合盆植,植株矮矮幾呎高便能開花結果了.  生長緩慢.
