Annual carnivorous plant.  When the plant under the sun, the droplets on the gland reflect the light showing the rainbow color, hence the common name.  Very cool!  Pretty effective capturing the bugs.  Very easy to grow from seeds.  Mauve or deep pink/ light purple flowers in summer, set seeds then plant dies.  The plants do not have well developed root system, let plants get absorb from bottom of the pot.  Mature plant height:6″-1′.  Fresh seeds germinate easily on the wet soil/medium in full sun warm location in about 1 week to 10 days.

它是腺毛草科一年生草本的食肉植物.  原生於澳洲,印度尼西亞以及巴布亞紐幾內亞地區.   春末夏初開紫色小花,結子後植株便死亡.  以全日照到半日照處栽培為佳,不耐濕,給水以底盆供水為佳.  成熟植株:6″-1′(H)  新鮮種子很容易孵出,播種於溼潤土壤/介質上置於全日照溫暖處約1周到10天會發芽.
