Perennial vine.  Medicinal herb/vegetable.  Prefers growing in partial shade to full shade location in moist soil.  Easy to grow as indoor plant.  Small yellow-white flowers in summer.    Require male plant and female plant to fruit.   Each berry is a pea size they turn purple-black when berries are ripe.  Mainly harvest the leaves for herbal tea.  Also the easiest way to enjoy it.   Mature size:10′-12′(H/L).  USDA Zone:8-11.
