Tropical succulent perennial.  Very hardy and drought tolerant. This dwarf size Aloe has pink foliage, very showy and attractive!  Easy to grow and propagate.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location in well drained medium.  Orange red flowers in summer.  Flowers attract bees.  USDA Zones:9-11.  Mature size:9″-12″(H/W).  Propagate usually by cuttings or offsets, also can be by seeds.

This hardy perennial has dense clusters of orange red Maltese Cross shape flowers.   Best growing in full sun location.  Bronze foliage when in full sun and green foliage when lack of sun.  Flowers in mid summer to early fall.   Flowers attract bees, butterflies and humming birds.  Easy to grow and propagate.  Propagate from seeds or division.  USDA Zones:3-10.  Mature size:1′-1.5′(H) X 1′-1.5′(W).

The best time to grow this from seeds is fall to winter, the second best time is in early spring.

秋冬播種最佳,初春次之.

1.Soak the seeds for 1 day.

1.種子泡水1天.

2.Use clean pot or container with lid, fill the pot or container with potting soil.  Moist the soil but not saggy.  Lay seeds on top, cover with lid.  Place the pot or container in somewhere warm and dark.

2.用乾淨的盆或有蓋的容器裝培養土. 澆濕土壤但不要過濕到水滲出.  種子放在土表面,蓋上蓋子悶.  盆或容器放在溫暖陰暗的地方來悶孵.

3.Check the seed progress and open the lid for air circulation once a day.  From second week to 3rd week seeds will start to germinate.

3.每天開蓋檢查一次順便透氣.  第2週到第3週種子就會開始陸續出芽.

4.When seedlings are growing green.  Do not need lid any longer.  Place the pot or container to partial shade and warm location to grow.

4.小種苗轉綠後不再需要用蓋子.  改半日照溫暖處讓它們繼續快速生長.

5.Transplant the seedlings once they show the sigh of climbing end or at least seedlings have 6 leaves to bigger individual pot.   Full sun and add the support for seedlings to climb on.

5.等至少小苗有6片葉片或開始有攀爬跡象後可以移植到單獨一大盆.   改為全日照並需要在盆內或外加支撐物以利小苗攀爬.

It may take 3-5 years from seeds to flower so be patient!  🙂   If you are not patient, you can try propagate it from stem cuttings.

從種子到開花約要3-5年時間,所以要有耐心!  🙂  如果嫌太慢的話可以用枝條扦插來繁殖.
