As shown the first image. This dwarf Hosta flowering from late spring to frost. Flowers are good for cut flower and also attract bees and butterflies.
Image 2 this Hosta is so fragrant, its fragrance is similar to Jasmine. I like its large white flowers in late summer which the most of fragrant flowers are done. It is very hardy and cold tolerant perennial. So easy to grow! 🙂 Unlike the most of Hostas prefers partial shade to full shade, it prefers in full sun location in moist but well drained soil. 圖二這種香玉簪開白色花,香味濃郁宜人香味類似茉莉花. 我喜歡它的夏末開的大白花串,因為到夏末幾乎香花植物都開盡了. 它是很強健耐寒的多年生草花. 真的很容易栽種! 🙂 不像多數的玉簪喜蔭,這種喜歡全日照並愛排水良好的濕潤土壤. 如圖三許多中型玉簪是斑葉品種.
This is how I germinate these seeds: 它的種子我是這麼孵法:
1.Get a container with a lid, fill with potting soil to 2/3 depth. Moist the soil and sprinkle the seeds on the surface. Cover with the lid and place the container in warm location where is under dapple shade or partial shade.
1.取一有蓋容器為苗盆,填上2/3的培養土加上排水佳的介質1:1. 濕潤土壤後將種子灑上土表並加蓋悶孵. 苗盆放散光溫暖處.
2.Open the lid to check the progress and get soil some fresh air. Seeds normally will germinate in 7 days.
2.每天開蓋檢查並透氣. 約7天會出芽.
3.Pick the germinated seeds and plant them in small pots individually. Partial shade.
3.出芽後揀出發芽種子分種於小盆. 改半日照.
4.Or transplant the seedlings when they have 6-8 leaves. In ground or transplant them to larger pots. Start to apply fertilizer.
4.或等小苗長到6-8片葉子時移植,地植或盆植. 開始施肥.
