Very hardy, drought tolerant shrub.  Easy to grow and propagate. Best growing in full sun location.  Silvery foliage covered with very fine, short hair.  Purple/blue small flowers from late spring to mid summer.  Flowers attract bees and butterflies.    USDA Zones:2-9. Mature size:2′-3′(H) X 1.5′-2′(W).  Propagate by seeds or cuttings.  Plant has very deep roots so it doesn’t transplant well.  Medicinal.

豆科紫穗槐屬的灌木.  非常強健易於栽種與繁殖的小型灌木.  最好栽種在全日照處.  鉛色綠的葉片被有銀白細毛. 春末到仲夏開著藍紫色小花. 花頗吸引蜂蝶.  極為耐寒也耐熱.  成熟植株高約2-3英尺,寬幅1.5-2英尺. 繁殖方式以種子為主,也可以扦插方式來進行. 植株根系深,移植不易.  藥用.

This shrub is mainly growing for its fall foliage and cut flower.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location.  Small white flowers in late spring to early summer.  Ripe red fruit in late fall to early winter, fruit attract birds to feed on.   USDA Zones:6-11.  Mature size:6′-8′(H) X 4′-6′(W).   Propagate by seeds, cuttings and layering.  Plant is toxic if ingested.

這種落葉灌木主要是種來賞秋葉及用它的紅果枝條為花材的.  容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照到半日照的環境.  白色小花於春末夏初開放. 秋末冬初果實轉紅.  鳥類會來覓食其果.  喜熱尚耐寒.  成熟植株6-8呎,寬幅4-6呎.  繁殖方式以種子,扦插及壓條/高壓來進行.

This hardy shrub is value with its ripen purple berries from mid summer throughout all winter.  Very hardy and easy to grow.  It prefers in full sun to partial shade location.  Small pale pink or white flowers in spring and its fruit ripe to turn bright purple, very pretty!   Flowers attract bees and butterflies.  Mature size:4′-6′(H) and (W).   USDA Zones:6-10.   Propagate by seeds or soft wood cuttings.    Birds and deer love its berries but plant is toxic if ingested by human!  (Plant can be used as insect repellents.)
