It is a dwarf flowering sub-shrub/perennial/succulent.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun location.  Waxy foliag and pink flowers in bell shaped in late spring to summer.  Flowers attract bees and butterflies.  USDA Zones:9-11.  Mature size:1’-2’(H/W).   Propagate by seeds, cuttings or division.  Excellent for rock garden.  Good for growing in containers.

迷人會變色又耐寒耐旱的長生草. 常綠多年生.  這種是很常用來配色的戶外多肉. 春夏溫暖時綠,秋冬轉冷時就紅,葉尖但還有著綠色,好種又容易繁殖!  最好是種在全日照處它的葉子顯色會最佳.  很適合用於小盆或岩砌花園.  很適合用於插花的花材.  夏開很小的偏白色粉色花.  耐寒也耐熱.  成熟株高僅3-4吋蠻貼地的,寬幅6-8吋不會亂長.  繁殖以種子,扦插或分株方式來進行.

This tropical perennial is very popular in warm region.  Easy to grow and propagate.   Best growing in partial shade to dapple shade location in moist soil.  Fragrant white and blue/violet flowers bloom repeatly from late spring to fall.  USDA Zones:9-11. Mature size:1′-2′(H) X 1.5′-3′(W). Propagate by cuttings, offsets or division.  Good for growing in containers indoors by window.

喜溫暖濕潤的鳶尾科馬蝶花屬的多年生草花. 容易栽種繁殖.  以栽種在半日照到散光處的濕潤土壤中為佳.  芬芳的白花內藍很美,從春末到秋天花期很長. 花吸引蜂蝶.  喜溫暖耐熱不耐寒.  成熟株高1-2呎,寬幅1.5-3呎如果地植的話.  以高芽,側芽或分株來繁殖.  適合室內靠窗盆植.

長相有點奇特的多肉植物. 多年生.  英文的通稱為"懷孕的洋蔥", 它是風信子科哨兵花屬,極會生小側芽和子球,就像是懷孕一樣大大的母球會一直爆生小小球…  容易栽種.  喜熱不喜冷.  最好種在全日照到半日照處.  春末夏初抽花梗上開滿白和綠色的小花. 成熟株高3-4呎,寬幅亦同.  有毒勿食.

The mature shrub/small tree size: 6′-8′(H) and (W).  Very thorny!  USDA Zones:10-11. Best growing in warmer climate in full sun to partial shade location.  Since its mature size is not big so it is fine for potting to grow indoor sunny location.

This is how I grow them:  我的孵法:

1.A pot with Triple Mix and well drained medium 1:1.

1.取一小苗盆裝:3合一的肥沃花土和排水佳土壤1比1.

2.Get fresh firm seeds cleaned and lay on top of the potting mix.  Place the pot in partial shade location and keep moist the soil.  Place the pot in room temperature, partial shade location with good air flow.

2.取新鮮飽滿的優質種子,清洗後放上步驟1.的表土上.  置於室溫半日照通風處.

3.About 1 week the seed will sprout but no green leaf yet, continue to moist the soil.

3.約1週種子會出根但尚未能出小芽葉.  繼續保溼.

4.Another 1 month the seedling will grow rapidly with green shoots, you can seed few tiny leaves appear.  Place the pot in full sun to partial shade location.

4.約過再1個月出根的小種子才會加速生長突長出帶幾片小綠葉的芽.  苗盆置於全日照到半日照處.

5.Firtilize the seedlings when the cotyledon (seed leaf) is shrunk.  Use dilute balance ratio fertilizer such as 10-10-10 or 20-20-20.

5.等子葉的養份耗損縮小才開始施均衡比例的薄肥.  如氮-磷-鉀比例為10-10-10 或20-20-20.

6.When young plants grow steadly transplant each plant in their indivisual pot before the plants get too thorny.

6.小苗生長情況穩定後要趁不是太多刺時移植分盆,一盆一株.

7.When the plant stem turn woody or firm and thick, you may clip away the pricks for safety measure.

7.安全考量上要等枝條變硬或木質化時即可將硬刺剪除.

8.To stimulate plant growth and aging, grafting its own shoots will do so.

8.植株成長正常要使植株刺激生長並加速老化以開花結果可以自株嫁接.

Easy and fun!  When seeds sprout, just pick the sprouted seeds and plant them in a pot individually. 簡單好玩的孵種方式!  等出芽後,撈出發芽的種子個別盆植即可.
