Also known as ironwort.  This tropical tender perennial is native in Greece.  Easy to grow wild in suitable environment.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location in well drained rocky limy soil. Small bright yellow flowers on the erected flower stems bloom almost all year around.  Flowers attract bees and butterflies.  Silvery white foliage and stems have fuzzy texture.  Whole plant is aromatic, very pleasant.  USDA Zones:8-11.  Drought tolerant.  Mature size:2′-3′(H) X 1.5′-2′(W).  Usually can be steeped in hot boiling water or simmer then drain the solid part out, add some honey to taste, very soothing herb tea!  Medicinal.    Propagate by seeds.
