This germination is a bit tricky.  Keeping seeds warm first then keep cool to simulate summer and fall to winter.   Fresh seeds can direct sow (will take 6-18 months), otherwise you can try my way.

1.Small pot/container as seed tray.  Fill the seed tray with top soil/potting soil, sprinkle the seeds then cover the seeds with a very thin layer of soil.  Spray with water mist. Bag the tray with clear plastic bag/re-sealable bag.  Place the bag in somewhere warm for 1 month.  Open bag to get fresh air once in a while.

3.直到種子出芽,取出已出芽種子一顆一盆. 用排水佳的任何土都可以種. 置於半日照處保濕即可.

不先冰過的話直接置於濕潤盆土上,整盆用大夾鍊袋悶著,偶爾開袋透氣,約2.5個月發芽. 發芽後再撿出一小盆一棵於半日照通風處種到快滿盆時換盆. 小苗勿過份澆水.

花瓣開久會變革質硬化所以雖顏色會轉淡後變成綠色的. 可賞花期有數月之久. 為常見的冬天和春天用的花材. 有單瓣和重瓣花色很多.  植株有毒不可誤食.

Best germinate in late fall, second best in early spring.

以秋播為主,春播次之.

1.Keep seeds in freezer for one month.

2.Get seeds out from freezer, sow the seeds on the moisten potting soil in a container with lid or cover the container with clear plastic bag to keep the soil moist.   Place the container in partial shade, warm location.  Check and open for air circulation once a day.  Seeds will sprout in about 2 weeks.

Also called August lily. It is one of fragrant hostas. Hardy perennial and it is very easy to grow in full sun to partial shade location in moist soil. This is not good in full shade location. Large white flowers bloom in August, the flowers are with strong pleasant sweet fragrance similar with jasmine flowers. Good for cut flower. USDA Zones:2-9. Mature size:1.5′-2′(H) x 2′-4′(W). Easy to propagate by dividing the plant clumps in early spring.
