This hardy shrub is value with its ripen purple berries from mid summer throughout all winter.  Very hardy and easy to grow.  It prefers in full sun to partial shade location.  Small pale pink or white flowers in spring and its fruit ripe to turn bright purple, very pretty!   Flowers attract bees and butterflies.  Mature size:4′-6′(H) and (W).   USDA Zones:6-10.   Propagate by seeds or soft wood cuttings.    Birds and deer love its berries but plant is toxic if ingested by human!  (Plant can be used as insect repellents.)

Very cold hardy large shrub or small tree.   Prefers growing in full sun to partial shade location.  White flowers in spring and follow the red berries in fall.   Flowers attract bees and butterflies and fruit attract birds.   Red berries is also edible for human but sour.  Some people use fruit to cook with meat.  Fall foliage is brilliant red!   USDA Zones: 3-7.  Mature size:15′-20′(H) X 12′-15′(W).  It is a very good plant for fall and winter colour!
