Beautiful succulent plant!   USDA Zones: 6-9.   Hardy, evergreen, easy to grow and fast spreading but not invasive.  Summer flowering with many different colour depends on varieties from white, purple, pink, red, yellow or even bi-colour!   With long blooming time, it blooms from July to October.

It can be used as evergreen ground cover in warm regions.  Easy to propagated by seeds, layering , stem cuttings or dividing plants.  Full sun.  Tolerant drought.

美麗的多肉植物!  耐寒程度USDA Zones: 6-9. 強健,常綠,容易栽種,長的快但不會太強勢.  花色依品種有白,粉,紫,黃,甚至於有少見的雙色!  花期很長,從七月到十月.

在溫暖的氣候區可用來做為常綠的地被植物.  容易用種子,壓條,扦插或分株來繁殖.  全日照.  耐旱.

我是在網路上看到可以DIY的一時手癢玩玩…

我是這樣做的–

1用電鑽在導電末端鑽孔

2.除去燈泡中心

3.使用工具小心使開口稍大但不破壞燈泡的完整性

4.加入土壤及介質

5.選擇生長高度低生長速度慢的植物種進去

6.用金屬線或其他方式將之固定住–懸空似乎較能突顯作品

7.以吸管滴水進去澆水–不要澆太濕

8.注意植物的光線需求讓植物定根

我用的植物有景天科長生草屬(中心那棵)紅色Hen and chicks (Sempervivum ‘Royal Ruby’)

配3 種不同的景天屬/佛甲草屬 Sedum acre(黃色花), Sedum spurium‘John Creech’(粉紅色花),  Sedum rupestre’Angelina'(黃色花)
