Tropical tuberous perennial with edible tubers.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun location in sandy soil.  Tubers are edible raw or cooked, juicy, crispy with mild flavor.  Small pink flowers in spring to summer.  Each flower only last one day.  Flowers attract bees and butterflies.  USDA Zones:9-11.  Mature size:6″-1.5′(H) X 9″-1′(W).  Propagate by seeds or division. 　Suitable for containers.
