Cold hardy perennial/climber with edible roots (as root vegetable in Europe) and fragrant flowers! Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun to partial shade location in close to moist soil.  Rosy pea fragrant flowers in late spring to late fall.  Flowers attract bees, butterflies and birds.  Long blooming time.  Good for cut flower.  Tuberous roots can be harvest in next following years.  Roots after cooked is very delicious!  Seeds are toxic if ingested.  USDA Zones:4-10.  Mature size:2′-4′(H/L) X 3″-1′(W).  Propagate by seeds, bulbs/tubers, layering or division.   Self seeds easily.  This climber require structure to cling on.
