Yacon (Smallanthus sonchifolius) is a perennial crop, root vegetable, the root is juicy, sweet and crunchy can be eaten as fruit.  Easy to grow.  Best growing in full sun location.  I have tried the partial shade but not growing as well as in full sun.   USDA Zones:7-11. Mature size:4′-6′(H) X 2′-3′(W).  Propagate by offset, tubers or division.  Suitable for large containers.

它是一種多年生草本的根莖類蔬菜,根部甜脆多汁可做為水果來吃. 容易栽種.  最好栽種在全日照處. 我試種於半日照處但長的遠不如全日照的長的好.  喜熱不耐寒.  成熟株高4-6呎,寬幅2-3呎.  繁殖以側芽,地下根莖或分株方式來繁殖.  適合大盆栽種.
