Hardy flowering perennial vine. Easy to grow. Best growing in full sun to partial shade location. Hot pink pea like flowers in summer and fall. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and birds. Flowers are good for cut flower. USDA Zones:5-9. Mature size:6′-8′(H)/L) X 3″-6″(W). Propagate by seeds. Self seed easily.

My Food And Flowers 
One of my favourite wild flowers is the common vetch (Vicia sativa), which is another lovely nitrate fixing plant that flowers in a pretty purple.
It is rather pretty and useful! 🙂
Is this flower fragrant?
No. This has no fragrance at all. 😦 But it is pretty and you don’t have to start them from seeds every year. 🙂
