Tropical fruit. This fruit has bump surface. Its inner structure/flesh looks like same genus fruit. The taste is not that sweet, more on the acidic side although very flavorful. The after taste in the mouth is very fragrant and flavorful, making me want to savor the after taste longer. So I realize it will be great to use the edible flesh (after removing peel and seeds) and make juice/smoothie with other sweeter fruit. That will make the perfect combination! 🙂
Easy to grow. Best growing in full sun location to partial shade location. Tolerant poor soil. Creaming white flowers in late spring to early summer. seeds are toxic if ingested. Propagate by seeds, cuttings or grafting. Medicinal.

Love soursop and now it is getting more expensive to get it as it seen able to cure cancer, which I heard it from my relatives in Singapore.
I have heard of its medicinal effect, too! Are you interested in growing some? Seeds do not store well, if you want I can share some seeds with you. 🙂
Thanks and I not sure whether it will grow in my garden as my house in England is slightly uphill and it is always so cold in here. I would love to plant in my garden and thanks for seeds and would love it.
Love to hear your opinion whether my garden is suitable for this as I don’t have any green house.
Well, it prefers warm climate, it is evergreen in tropical if growing in colder climate must be in pot over winter indoors or growing in winter heated green house. When it feels coldness will drop leaves for sure. But good thing that growing from seeds, few will try to survive in new climate and tolerant different suitable hardy zone. — I have propagate some plants, for example, my French lilac (very fragrant double white flowered) seedlings, last winter (its first winter) and this year (the 2nd winter) in pot in zone 6 staying evergreen! Which it is unheard of. Same with one of my large bloomed Clematis seedling, it is the first cold winter and still stay evergreen also unheard of! 🙂 So, even though it is long process to growing from seeds I do believe it is worthy to make such attempt!
Thanks for your advice and it will be hard for me, as a frequent traveler, will not be able to handle it.
thank so much and appreciate it.
You are welcome! Thanks fine.
In Costa Rica it is Guanabana. I love it for smoothies.
Good choice! 🙂
