Aromatic annual herb/pseudocereals with seeds that are often collected and soaked into water/drinks and refrigerated to make refreshing beverage or dessert.  Tropical.  Very easy to grow.   Best growing in full sun to partial shade location.   Small purple/deep pink flowers bloom from spring to summer.  Flowers attract bees and butterflies.  Mature size:3′-5′(H) X 4′-6′(W).  Propagate by seeds.  Self seeds easily.   Plant has mint like aroma and whole plant is medicinal.

一年生香草/類穀物,其種子常被用來加水/飲料後冰涼後作為清涼飲品或甜點,含有很高的膳食纖維.  喜熱. 非常容易栽種. 最好栽種在全日照到半日照處.  小小唇狀紫花於春夏開放.  花頗吸引蜂蝶.  成熟株高3-5呎,寬幅4-6呎.  以種子來繁殖.  容易自行落籽繁殖.  全株有類似薄荷的香氣.  全株可入藥.
