Ox-eye daisy(Leucanthemum vulgare)牛眼菊/法蘭西菊
This perennial could be invasive in some areas. Very hardy wild flower, good for cut flower use. Its long blooming time make them so visible in the wild which is very good for bees and butterflies. White daisy like flowers from late spring to early fall. It is a good plant choice for poor dry soil when you have hard time to grow anything pretty. But if you grow them in the garden you have to stop them from seeding by use them as cut flower. Excellent for beekeepers to grow in the large area because its long blooming time and no maintenance. It is easy to propagate them by seeds, roots or cuttings. Mature size:1′-3′(H) X1′-1.5′(W). USDA Zones:3-9.

You are welcome! Do you have honey bee hives in your property? This plant is well appreciated by all the bees! 🙂 You could contact the local floral stores to sell them for cut flowers if you have lots of them. It will be good for your fertilizer money for the rest of garden! 😉

this is very invasive here and although I like it, I don’t let it in my flower beds at all.
I like it, too! I use it for cut flower so they don’t have chance to seed at all.
So many times, I have been tempted to dig a clump of this out and bring home. Invasive or not, I love this flower! A staple of a summer bouquet! 🙂
