beautiful raspberry plant and have a wonderful Wednesday.
I have scattered plants that look just like this on my place – didn’t know what they were and (in ignorance) thought them to be a wild cousin to Nasturtiums (which you, in your knowledge are free to laugh and say, ReallY?) but, thanks for posting the pic of the leaf – – I’ve held off cutting them down or weeding them out until I could identify them – they aren’t aggressive -all they ever do is provide ground cover with leaves that look like the pic – have never seen any blossoms or anything else described here – – thanks for all the info you provide! Zone 5B – 🙂
It has been introduced to be a ground cover. Was it evergreen in your zone during winter? In most of zones it is evergreen in winter its foliage turn bronze or purple.
Okay, then, what I have must be something else, though the leaves look similar – because it dies back in winter and re-emerges each spring – sigh – sometimes, the sheer size of my gardening ignorance to be overcome is overwhelming! LOL – but I do so love your blog – You’ve really helped me in choosing plants or research efforts to learn more! Thanks! 🙂
Perhaps you can take few pictures and then give me the link. Maybe I can help to id the plant?
Thank you so much! Will do!
It’s the second picture in this blog post – let me know if you need more close-up one – 🙂 https://ballybin.wordpress.com/2015/05/28/%E2%99%AA-while-blazing-through-the-jungle-one-day/
It is a common mallow (Malva neglecta).

Thank you so very much – but now, decisions, decisions – cuz it is edible and indicates fertile soils – …. 🙂
