Beautiful, hardy, native wildflower. Very easy to grow. It is a short lived perennial. Best in full sun location in moist soil. Blue/purple flowers bloom in summer and fall. Good for cut flower. Flowers attract bees and butterflies. USDA Zones:3-9. Mature size:4′-6′(H) x 2′(W). Self seeds easily.

it grows in my backyard and we use its dry leaves for hot infusions, usually with mint and linden flowers… 🙂
