I was just looking up Garlic Chives. I love perennials!
Perennials are great! You can expect them return, more flowers and grow bigger!
These are great images. I’ve never seen an ‘Ivory Queen’ before are the ones in the picture fully grown? Such small, wide leaves for an Allium.
Can you get Society garlic in Canada? The variegated variety is beautiful and the flowers are quite different.
It is too cold for them in our zone… 😦
Beautiful 🙂 Great to know about these varieties. I love perennials too !
They are very nice!
I’ve found the large ornamental Alliums do remarkably well in the shade. Just this week I divided and replanted some that are at least ten years old.
That is nice! Most Allium genus do tolerant partial shade. Especially they gets sun when tree and shrub leaves haven’t grow and they dormant after tree and shrub leave grown so that is how it worked — thank you for sharing your experience! 🙂
