I have tons of these in my garden. The lady who gave me a few said they were “lady slippers". Is that the same thing?
Definitely not the same thing… Lady slippers looks like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypripedium_reginae there are few different varieties and their flower colour also different. See these photos: http://pphotography-blog.blogspot.ca/2012/01/ladys-slipper-flower.html
Perhaps she does have some and plant near by so she might mixing up? I would like to get some lady slippers as well myself only if I can find them in nurseries. 😦
Thanks mine are definitely the Solomon’s Seal. She gave me a few and boy have they multiplied.
They are good for cut flower use. 🙂
