Rain Lily (Zephyranthes) 風雨蘭
Pretty, easy to grow and multiply by bulb or seeds. Zephyranthes candida (white flowers), Zephyranthes carinatais or Zephyranthes rosea (pink flowers) and Zephyranthes citrine (yellow flowers) are hardy for USDA zones 7-10. In Canada they are tender flowering bulbs, but they are very easy to grow in pots indoor by a sunny window.
I have these three different coloured bulbs, fairly good size with good quality. The photo is the first flower, even before it has grown any leaves.
Bloom Time: Late Summer/Early Fall Blooms repeatedly. Best grown in full sun to partial shade location.
I have several too, and I love my rain lilies. Blessings, Natalie 🙂
Aren’t they great! 🙂
Yes, they are. I just love mine! Blessings, Natalie 🙂
beautiful….nice post…
Thank you!
Beautiful. I’ve never grown these but maybe it’s time to try.
It is inexpensive and easy to grow. The best of it is almost no maintenance and it has long blooming time! 🙂
