It is blooming nicely! And there are 2 flower stems!
When the flowers are all done and weather is warm enough, I will plant the bulb outdoor to keep the bulb growing larger then when I bring the bulb in again it will have bigger flowers.

I wish I had planned ahead for something like this–some indoor color would be very welcome right now!
Start some annual seeds indoor now and in 1.5 – 2 months you will have flowers bloom!

I neglected my amaryllis bulbs last year and all they have offered is the rebuke of one sad leaf each. Yours looks great!

oh we have those in our garden as well. they grow with very little help. ours are a bright red. our garden is basiclaly dead, as both my father and i do not have green thumbs, yet this flower grows without help
Yes they are very hardy! In warm climate they are no maintenance. 🙂
