How I would love some peonies in my garden but they aren’t easily found in South Africa.
You can search on local large nurseries, they usually have permit to import plants so they might have some. Good luck for finding them, you have wonderful blog!

看见朋友家的花上有蚂蚁，很喜欢这个花，又不想有蚂蚁怎么办啊
春與秋螞蟻會分家,新的蟻后們和交配用的雄蟻以及所有的螞蟻會有"歡送會",這時蟻穴就會有密密麻麻的螞蟻,這個時候用沸水伺候以大量減少蟻數. 少數目的螞蟻還是有生態上的需要,有一年曾實驗過不讓螞蟻接近芍藥花苞,結果花苞無法繼續長大就消苞了. 所以我還是繼續控制蟻數並且某些程度上任其自然.

若在盆裡,土軟何時種都成. 在地裡的話,秋末冬初土還未冰凍能挖時最好,不易造成傷害.
