  They are lovely but now I am growing reblooming Irises, they are suppose to bloom more than twice a year! 🙂

我好喜歡這種大型鳶尾，可惜今年我沒有買到她們
那種粉紅色的好美喔…之前在漢諾威我買了兩株粉紅色，結果開出的竟是白的
西伯利亞藍鳶尾較細小，我也很喜歡，一直都還沒機會種到她們

  現在要買的話要買一種續開型的德國鳶尾才好,一年至少開2次的那種. 花色也有不少可以挑選,最近才託朋友買到一批6色混合的,正小心呵護中.

I love that pink. I have one that is lavender and pink, but I prefer the one you showed. I love iris.

  Now you can purchase re-blooming bearded Irises, they bloom at least twice a year (spring and autumn), some even keep blooming! I bought some but they are young and small now, when they flower I will have post just for them! 🙂

  The regular bearded Irises only bloom once a year in late spring, so I bought some re-blooming ones! 🙂

I have beautiful white and yellow ones. My neighbor, who sold me this house, planted them. She said they remind her of orchids. I never thought of that, but looking at those, they actually do!

  I think Irises have their Iris type of flowers, it is not the same compare with orchid though.

Your bearded iris are so beautiful! I don’t have any in my garden and I think that this fall I might change that. 🙂 Your photos are so lovely and the colors are so bright.

  Thank you! I am glad you like my pictures. Just you know you can buy reblooming Iris when you want to purchase in this fall. It is still not as common but worth looking for, they bloom at least twice a year, spring and fall and sometimes they bloom more than twice!
