It is the time to enjoy my creeping thyme, the purple flower carpet is so fragrant and soft. Time to take a break and enjoy rolling on this spring treat! 🙂 You can grow from stem cuttings or seeds easily.
There are few different varieties of color to pick from: red, deep purple, white and mine are light purplish pink.
I think mine are purple. They arrived today. I read they bloom all summer?
It depends on the variety. Creeping low kind only bloom in about one month only but more tiny flowers forming together. There is one kind bloom all the time but higher, among the branches so it is not as showy. Its weedy habit can grow almost anywhere.
Beautiful! Unfortunately, it’s too dry where we live for this kind of “thyme carpet" (without heavy watering 😦 ) Looks lovely! Thanks for the follow, and I look forward to reading more about your adventures! xLaura
I bet that carpet smells delicious! I’ve grown English and Lemon Thyme before and I love it but I haven’t tried Creeping Thyme. You’ve convinced me I should!
這樣躺下去,花不會怎樣嗎…
看! 你都穿短袖 !! 我們還在穿外套
不會啊,只會暫時性壓扁一些,隔不了多久就恢復.
今天好熱啊,還吹冷氣呢!
I love creeping herb lawns! I’m working on ours. 🙂
I am cheering for you!
I am envious that’s all I can say! A whole lawn of thyme!
You can do this and enjoy it, too!
It’s so beautiful. Ugh. I need to just plant mine already!
Then you will enjoy soon! 🙂
I ordered the seeds:)

Yes, they smell great! You should try to grow some creeping thyme if you have space. 🙂
What a lovely scented carpet!
It is very nice, soft and fragrant! And I like that you don’t have to mow it!
